Adlee will be remembered for his compassionate heart, old soul, and willingness to stop and help anyone in need. Even at a young age, he demonstrated remarkable bravery, maturity, and devotion to his community. Whatever Adlee committed himself to, he gave it 110 percent, approaching life with hard work, determination, and passion.
One of Adlee’s greatest dreams was to become a firefighter after graduation. He was already pursuing that calling as a volunteer cadet with the Markle Fire Department and as a member of his high school’s fire academy. His desire to serve others reflected exactly who Adlee was: courageous, dependable, caring, and always ready to lend a hand.
Adlee also ate, breathed, and played hockey from the time he was six years old. He loved attending Komets games and proudly supported his favorite NHL team, the Chicago Blackhawks. One of his family’s most treasured memories came during the 2025 high school state hockey tournament. In triple overtime against the number-one high school team in Indiana, Adlee scored the game-winning goal. The video was shared thousands of times across social media, and hearing the recording of that unforgettable moment still gives his family chills.
Adlee was also a country-loving young man who felt at home outdoors, getting dirty and simply enjoying life. He had an unforgettable love for hats, with a collection of more than 100 ball caps, dress hats, and cowboy hats.
At the center of Adlee’s life was his family, especially his younger brother, Brodee. Born just 16 months apart, the two were more than brothers. They were best friends who shared nearly 17 years of adventures, laughter, and memories.
Adlee left behind a legacy of love, kindness, courage, service, and passion. His heart of gold touched his family, friends, teammates, and community, and his life deserves to be celebrated for the incredible impact he made. His family will remember him through the song “Dancing in the Sky” and the words that so beautifully reflect the way he lived: always stay humble and kind.
