In loving memory of

Adlee George Scheerer

December 18, 2007 - January 4, 2026

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” - Psalms 23:4

Brody Barker was kind, caring, compassionate, and wonderfully funny. He never missed an opportunity to share a hug or say, “I love you.” A gifted student and math genius, Brody loved learning, solving problems, and discovering the “why” behind everything. His curiosity led him from gaming and documentaries to skateboarding, chess, thrifting, and whatever new passion captured his attention.

Brody was truly a friend to everyone. Athletes, gamers, scholars, and farm kids all found a loyal friend in him. If someone needed Brody, he would drop everything to be there. His laughter, friendship, and ability to make others feel valued left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Brody’s caring spirit continues through his selfless decision to become an organ and tissue donor. His gifts saved three lives, and his tissue donations created 49 grafts that have helped people across the country. It is a remarkable legacy for a young man who spent his life giving so much of himself to others.

Brody was an incredible son, family member, and friend. Those who loved him feel exceedingly blessed to have shared in his life. He will always be remembered for his brilliant mind, generous heart, joyful humor, and the love he gave so freely.
