This privacy policy covers how we will treat the personal information that we collect at chat.remedylive.com, portal.remedylive.com. poll.remedylive.com, GSTpoll.com, REMEDYpoll.com, the short code 494949, virtual webinar experiences, and the in-person events RemedyLIVE participates in. Hereafter, these experiences will be named ‘RemedyLIVE’ and are the same service provided by SoulMedic Media Group, Inc.

Personal information is your information and includes identifiers like your first and last name, address, zip code, city, state, email address, phone number, mobile number, gender, religion, race, and age.

By registering a user account with chat.remedylive.com, GSTpoll.com, REMEDYpoll.com, the short code 494949, or virtual webinar experiences, you agree to subscribe to regular email publications or text messages we distribute with the option to unsubscribe or opt out.

We will not share your email or mobile phone number with others. All emails or text messages from us will be SoulMedic Media Group, Inc. sponsored initiatives.

Standard messaging and data rates may apply.

Children under 13 are not recommended to use the chat.remedylive.com or the short code 494949 service, including chat interactions, and this privacy policy makes no provision for children’s use of those services.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

By opting into the RemedyLIVE 494949 mobile messaging program or via the CTA at chat.remedylive.com, you agree to these Mobile Messaging Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Program Description: RemedyLIVE provides 24-hour care in the United States to people caught in a struggle and needing support through the shortcode 494949.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
How to Opt-Out / Stop: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to 494949. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time or reply with the word REMEDY.
How to Get Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at support@remedylive.com or 260-422-1958.
Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consumer Personally Identifiable Information (PII) will not be shared, sold, rented, or otherwise disclosed to third parties (affiliated or unaffiliated) for marketing purposes.

You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your username.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure if you are asked to provide one.

You must not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate, or intimidate others while using the services of RemedyLIVE.

You may not use the services of RemedyLIVE for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. International users agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.

You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, screen names, graphics, photos, profiles, audio and video clips, links (‘Content’) that you submit, post, and display with RemedyLIVE.

You must not modify, adapt or hack the services of RemedyLIVE or modify another website so as to state or imply that it is associated with RemedyLIVE.

You must not create or submit unwanted email to RemedyLIVE or its members (‘Spam’).

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature to RemedyLIVE.

You must not, in the use of RemedyLIVE, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws), or to infringe the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights.

Any loss of, or damage to data is not the responsibility of the services of chat.remedylive.com, GSTpoll.com, REMEDYpoll.com, SparkIt.tv, the short code 494949, or virtual webinar experiences. Use of this service is at your own risk.

If at any time you choose to provide chat information or profile content that suggests you might do harm to yourself or another, we reserve the right to contact authorities, including local authorities in your area, to provide safety to you and/or others.

You agree that RemedyLIVE, in our sole discretion, may use, share, and/or communicate any and all personal information that you have provided or that we possess for the purpose of attempting to secure your health or safety or the health or safety of others.

You affirm that you will not create multiple accounts using multiple email addresses and/or phone numbers. Failure to abide by these terms may result in the termination of all accounts.

The services of RemedyLIVE are not those of a professional counseling organization. The staff and speakers of RemedyLIVE are not licensed therapists or counselors.

The views and opinions of the staff and speakers are not necessarily the views and philosophies of RemedyLIVE. Our desire is to have meaningful conversations with those who interact with us, and through listening, love all people through God’s love.

Violation of any of these above terms and conditions will result in the termination of your RemedyLIVE account. While RemedyLIVE prohibits such conduct and content with our services, you understand and agree that RemedyLIVE cannot be responsible for the content posted on its website and, despite our best efforts, you may be exposed to concepts, content, or material that offends you. Use RemedyLIVE services at your own risk.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to modify or terminate RemedyLIVE services for any reason, without notice at any time.

We reserve the right to alter these Terms of Use at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change to the Terms of Use, we will notify you via an appropriate method. What is a ‘material change’ is at our discretion.

We reserve the right to share information with local authorities as well as legal guardians if required documentation is provided.

We claim no intellectual property rights over any material you provide to the services of RemedyLIVE. All content on RemedyLIVE services is copyrighted and may be used only with our prior written permission.

By clicking accept on GSTpoll.com at your designated event, I confirm that I am not aware that any of my parents or guardians object to my participation in this RemedyLIVE service.

You are being asked to take part in a virtual event that includes interactive polling. We are trying to learn more about you and, through the live aggregate results, show you that you’re not alone and that other people may struggle the way you do.

By participating in a RemedyLIVE event using a school-managed device or network, you acknowledge that the school may use monitoring or safety software that could identify you or alert the school to concerning activity or responses.

You can choose to participate or not to participate in the interactive polling. If you agree to take part, you will view a presentation and answer questions using your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. The questions will ask about a variety of areas concerning your life- some of which you’ve maybe kept a secret from others.

This presentation will take place during school hours, with questions that may last up to 60 minutes.

If you do not want to participate in the poll, you do not have to. You may skip any question that you do not want to answer. You can stop participating or answering questions at any time. There is no penalty or punishment for not answering questions. No one will be upset if you do not want to participate. Those who do not want to answer the questions may still view the virtual presentation.

Talking about some of the issues discussed during the Get Schooled Tour can be uncomfortable for some people. If you become upset by the presentation or questions, please talk to a trusted adult at your school, in your personal life, one of the talk room staff we are partnered with at your school today, text 494949, or visit chat.remedylive.com. Our goal is to help you through today’s event. At the conclusion of the virtual event, we will share with you different ways you can get help.

Chat Usage Limits

To ensure the safety, sustainability, and appropriate use of our services, RemedyLIVE may review user activity and, after approximately 100 completed chats, determine whether continued use of the platform remains appropriate. At RemedyLIVE’s sole discretion, users may be referred to alternative resources, have their chat access limited, or have their access discontinued.

Third-Party Resources

RemedyLIVE may offer a transition to an alternative support resource or provide referrals to additional external or third-party services as supplemental support. If a referred resource operates independently from RemedyLIVE, that third-party service is solely responsible for its own operations, services, content, data practices, and user experience. Such third-party services are governed by their own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies. RemedyLIVE does not control, endorse, supervise, or assume liability for any independently operated third-party resource, nor for any interactions, information provided, or outcomes arising from their use.

Third-Party Resources: Church Cares and 7Cups

Church Cares and 7Cups are independent from RemedyLIVE. Church Cares and 7Cups are not owned, operated, or controlled by RemedyLIVE. Each platform maintains its own staff, technology, support processes, and service standards.Your use of Church Cares or 7Cups is governed exclusively by their respective Privacy Policies and Terms of Service. RemedyLIVE does not manage any information you share on Church Cares or 7Cups.RemedyLIVE is not responsible for the content, services, operations, or data practices of Church Cares or 7Cups. Accessing or interacting with these services is done at your discretion and subject to their independent policies.RemedyLIVE is a separate entity from Church Cares/7Cups. User Conduct and Blocking Policy

We ask all users to treat others with respect and refrain from cruel, abusive, or harmful statements while using our services. If you choose not to respond positively to the warnings of the RemedyLIVE staff, your profile and IP address may be blocked. RemedyLIVE may, at its sole discretion, block, restrict, or discontinue access to the service at any time, with or without cause or notice.
