IN 2022, more than 50,000 Americans died by suicide.
That same year, Fort Wayne lost one of its own, Ross Nichols, to suicide. Determined to turn the pain into a lasting impact, Ross’ family and friends have chosen to honor his life and bring awareness to a tragedy that is affecting far too many people. This year’s Cruise-In Event and Golf Outing will raise crucial funds for RemedyLIVE and support meaningful conversations in our community.
Ross, an extremely talented and young man, founded Jack’s Speed Shop in 2015 to pursue his love as an auto mechanic, collector and restorer of vintage cars and trucks. Ross attended and participated in many cruise ins and exhibited at a variety of car shows, winning awards for his vintage 1949 Ford F1, 1974 MG and 1974 International Harvester Loadstar and a 1969 F100 which he won the Ford Outstanding Achievement Award in 2019 at the SEMA car show in Las Vegas. We are excited to honor Ross’ love of cars and trucks and his friendships with fellow car enthusiasts through the Cruise-In event.
